Publication of provisional tariffs for the use of electricity and gas networks for 2026

In accordance with Article 11 of Regulation ILR/E24/18 of 28 June 2024, Creos Luxembourg S.A. today publishes the provisional tariffs for the use of electricity and gas transmission and distribution networks applicable in 2026, as well as an indication of the evolution of tariffs for the use of LV, MV, HV and EHV electricity networks.

With regard to the use of electricity networks, the provisional tariffs take into account changes in operating costs, investments and expected volumes for 2026.

In addition, the calculations take into account the state contribution totalling €150 million, as envisaged in the draft law on a state contribution to the costs to be transposed into tariffs for the year 2026, which is currently under review. The provisional tariffs for the use of electricity networks are based on the assumption that the relevant law will be adopted and published before the end of the year.

Thanks to the planned State contribution of €150 million, tariffs for the use of electricity networks are expected to decrease significantly compared to 2025, thereby helping to reduce network usage costs for all users in 2026.

With regard to the use of natural gas networks, the provisional tariffs take into account changes in operating costs, investments and expected volumes for 2026.

Creos Luxembourg remains fully committed to ensuring security of supply for all its customers through high-performance and economically efficient electricity and natural gas networks.
