Meter removal can be requested by the network user/consumer/tenant, but requires the signature of the connection holder/owner.
In all cases, the re-commissioning of a gas installation will require certification of the conformity of the installation by a Luxembourg-approved installer.
Disconnecting a connection is irreversible and will deprive all users of the building of gas. It cannot be carried out if there are still gas installations (gas meters) in use in the building.
Connection disconnection can only be requested by the lessee/owner.
Creos has received your request for a new connection. We check that your request is complete and technically feasible. If you have any questions, we will contact you.
Once your request has been approved, we invite you to arrange a meeting on site.
During the on-site appointment, the Creos agent will take a detailed look at the premises to define the terms and conditions and agree a date with you for the disconnection of the connection.
If the connection is disconnected (Option 2), the civil engineering work is the responsibility of the applicant. Your contractor must make an appointment with Creos to disconnect the connection from the network.
Civil engineering work is not required for meter removal (Option 1).
Creos will carry out the work requested - meter removal (Option 1) or separation of the connection (Option 2) - on the agreed date.
