For any installation of a charging station (AC or DC type) connected to the low or medium-voltage electricity network, with a power rating equal to or greater than 7 kW three-phase or greater than 4.6 kW single-phase, you must submit a request. Before submitting an application via our myCreos customer portal, we recommend that you contact your electrician to analyse your electrical installation.
Every home charging station installation must be carried out by an approved electrician. You can find a list of approved electricians in Luxembourg on the website of the Fédération du Génie Technique at www.fgt.lu.
Important
The commissioning of the charging station by the electrician is not subject to inspection or acceptance by Creos.
Creos has received your request for a charging station. We will check that it is complete and technically feasible. If you have any questions, we will contact you.
Once your request has been approved, we will inform you of the maximum power authorised.
Your electrician must install the charging station and document the installation via the Smarty PRO application. An installation report is sent to you, the electrician and Creos. You are now authorised to charge your electric car.
Creos checks the electrician's installation report and closes your application. If there are any questions, we inform you and your electrician so that the installation can be corrected.
Please note that the electrician carrying out the preparatory work must be a licensed electrician in Luxembourg.
The preparatory work must be carried out in accordance with the technical requirements (TAB) in force.
Smarty PRO is the mobile application for sending notifications of completion for photovoltaic installations and charging stations.
More than 700 public charging stations are available to electric vehicle users in Luxembourg. In addition, there are SuperChargy ultra-fast charging stations at service areas on the road network and in some car parks.
It's easy to identify yourself and pay for your charging at a Chargy network station! Simply present your mKaart or any other badge issued by a charging service provider operating on the Chargy network.
