As a producer, you generate energy and inject all the energy produced into the grid.
As a self-consumer, you consume some of the electricity you produce yourself, so you don't feed all of it into the grid. As a result, you are only remunerated for the energy fed into the grid.
In order to fully understand your request, you will be asked for information about your project.
You want to connect your new production installation to the electricity grid.
You want to remove your existing production installation.
You are already producing energy and would like to consume the energy yourself.
You want to terminate your feed-in contract.
You want to pass on a production system.
No documents need to be attached to your application, except in the case of a new connection request.
We recommend that you complete the application online with your electrician. He can also submit the application on your behalf.
Creos has received your request for a production installation. We will check that it is complete and technically feasible. If we have any questions, we will contact you. Once your application has been approved, we invite you to arrange an on-site appointment. If your electrician has chosen the treatment mode Accelerated - without Creos support, please skip step 02.
During an initial visit, we will plan the technical preparation of your production installation with you and your electrician.
Creos will send you a mail containing all the required documents. You must sign and return the documents received. You need to contact a supplier of your choice and sign a contract to purchase the energy fed into the grid. Your electrician must prepare the production installation in accordance with the technical requirements.
Once all the required documents have been received, you and your electrician are informed that you are now authorised to commission your production installation. At the same time, your electrician must complete the completion notification via the Smarty PRO application.
Creos will check the notification of completion and, if necessary, we will invite you to make an appointment to inspect the installation on site.
Creos has received your request for a production installation. We will check that it is complete and technically feasible. If we have any questions, we will contact you. Once your application has been approved, we invite you to arrange an on-site appointment. If your electrician has chosen the Accelerated processing mode - without Creos assistance, please skip step 02.

Your electrician must prepare the production installation in accordance with the technical requirements and return the signed notification of completion via the Smarty PRO application. If all the documents have been returned, Creos will invite you to arrange a meeting on site to check the preparatory work.
During the on-site visit, Creos checks the preparatory work.
Once the preparatory work has been validated, Creos will carry out the requested work within 30 days.
Please note that the electrician carrying out the preparatory work must be a licensed electrician in Luxembourg.
The preparatory work must be carried out in accordance with the technical requirements (TAB) in force.
Smarty PRO is the mobile application for sending notifications of completion for photovoltaic installations and charging stations.
If you produce energy, or if you know someone who does, you can create a sharing group and share the energy produced between the different members.
For example:
In a residence, the co-ownership produces energy. This energy is shared between the various co-owners, who can thus reduce their direct consumption from the grid.
