Do you need a connection to the electricity network as part of your construction project, and possibly a temporary connection for the duration of your worksite? Do you need to move your meter board or modify your installation? Create your connection request easily in just a few steps via your myCreos customer space.
If you already have a user account, log in directly to your customer space to start your request.
Are you a new customer or have you not yet registered with mycreos.net? Then complete the registration form to receive your username and password.
In order to fully understand your request, you will be asked to provide information about your building project or the modifications to be made to your installation.
You want to connect your new building to the electricity network.
You want to demolish a building connected to the electricity network in complete safety.
You need a temporary connection for the duration of your worksite.
You want to move the electrical panel board or cable connecting your property to the electricity network.
Your metering panel board needs to be brought into line with current technical requirements (TAB).
You have new electrical equipment that requires you to change the power of your installation.
You want to develop your property differently and therefore need to add/remove meters (e.g. for a residence a dedicated meter for charging electric vehicles or for a new housing unit or business).
The documents to be included can be uploaded at the end of your application. Depending on the type of application selected, you will be asked to provide some or all of the following documents.
Full building authorisation (the certificate/red dot issued by the commune certifying the construction permission is not sufficient)
Extract from the cadastral map minimum 1:2500
Site plan minimum 1:200
Plan of the cellar for a single-family home or, in the case of a residential property, a plan of the technical room and a plan of the basements
Certificate from the Service de l'Électricité issued by the Administration de l'Architecte (for connections within the City of Luxembourg)
We recommend that you complete the application online with your electrician. He can also submit the application on your behalf.
Creos has received your request for a new or modified electrical connection. We check that your request is complete and technically feasible. If you have any further questions, we will contact you.
Once your request has been approved, we invite you to arrange a meeting on site.
During an initial visit, we'll plan with you and your electrician the technical preparations for your new connection or modification. If necessary, we will draw up a quotation for the work to be carried out. Please sign the quotation and return it to Creos.
You and your electrician must prepare the worksite as agreed during the first visit and in accordance with the technical requirements in force. Once the preparatory work has been completed, your electrician will return the signed completion notification to us. Creos invites you to arrange a second on-site appointment to check the preparatory work.
During the second on-site visit, Creos will check the preparatory work.
Once the preparatory work has been validated, Creos will carry out the requested work within 30 days.
Please note that the electrician carrying out the preparatory work must be a licensed electrician in Luxembourg.
The preparatory work must be carried out in accordance with the technical requirements (TAB) in force.
You can submit a connection request or feasibility study to our services at any time via the myCreos customer portal. However, we strongly recommend that you submit your complete application before the start date of the work.
Any person or company involved in your project can submit a connection request via our myCreos customer portal. However, a connection request sometimes requires technical information to be provided to the grid operator. We therefore recommend that your electrician submits the request.
Depending on the type of request and your location, Creos will ask you to provide a certain number of documents before submitting your request via the myCreos platform.
Here is the list of documents required for each type of request:

If a person involved in a connection project does not have an Internet connection or an e-mail address, the person making the request - e.g. your electrician - can enter their own e-mail address instead. Please note, however, that if you do not have Internet access or an e-mail address, you will not be able to access the progress of your project or to the key stages in the process.
There are 3 types of appointment for a connection request:
Depending on the type of request chosen and certain parameters defined in your request (accelerated procedure, event connection, etc.), not all 3 appointments are compulsory. You will be informed by Creos in writing as soon as you can make an appointment.
As soon as an initialor inspection appointment can scheduled, you will be invited by e-mail to contact us on 2624-2624 to arrange an appointment with one of our technical experts.
If your file is eligible for an appointment, the nearest regional centre will contact you directly.
The Creos service catalogue is a document that is revised every year by the ILR (Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation) and published on our website. This document lists all the services provided by the network operator and the corresponding prices.
If the price deviates from the standard service catlogue due to technical criteria or the size of the project (max. 5 connections with 40A each), you will receive a customised offer from us after the pilot appointment. This must be signed and returned by you.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to give a completion date when you submit your connection request. In fact, the time required to process a connection request will depend on the type of request submitted, the progress of the work carried out by your electrician, and our ability to schedule control or inspection appointments as quickly as possible.
As the electricity network operator, Creos is responsible for the development and maintenance of the public network, right up to the meter in your home. To find out whether your electrical installation (behind the meter) complies with current standards, please contact a licensed electrician in Luxembourg. We would also like to inform you that the reference documents for the technical standards are available on our website.
If you want to install a charging station or a production unit (photovoltaic panels), we advise you to contact your electrician, who will carry out an initial analysis of the conformity of your installation. Once yu have defined the equipment to be installed and its technical characteristics, you or your electrician can submit a connection request via the myCreos platform.
You can access more information on your consumption or production and therefore make energy savings by changing your habits.
Meter readings and routine servicing are done remotely, so you will no longer be disturbed.
Your energy provider will be able to issue bills based on your actual consumption, rather than working on estimates, and offer you new services.
Before starting the connection procedure with Creos, you can choose and contact the electricity supplier of your choice. If not, you will be assigned the default supplier defined by law.
If you would like to receive the consumption data for the meter(s) for which you are a customer, please log in to your myCreos portal and submit your request.
With the Smarty+ application, you can track your energy consumption and production - whether electricity, gas, water or even district heating - measured by smart meters connected to your Smarty electricity meter, in real time and at any time.
