Step 3: Carrying out the connection work

The civil engineering work

You are responsible for the preparatory connection work, i.e. digging the trench between the gas grid and the building's connection point. This civil engineering work must be carried out according to our instructions and as stipulated in the Creos connection conditions. All the authorisations necessary for work on the public road network must be available before the start of the work.

Connection work done by Creos

Creos will make the connection to the natural gas grid on the date agreed with your contractor. The connection work will be completed when the tap is fitted at the entrance to the building. The connection of the internal installation to the gas tap is described in the following stages.

Payment for the connection

Once the connection has been made you will receive an invoice by mail corresponding to the work carried out.

    • You must be assisted by a contractor who is Alugaz-certified to carry out the civil engineering work.
    • For safety reasons, the connection may be made only once the civil engineering work has been completed and is subject to the building being closed (roof, doors, windows.
    • The trench must be ready by the date agreed for Creos to hook up to the gas grid.
    • If Creos carries out the work after the period of validity of the order, the work will be invoiced at the current price.
